The Affording Hope Project (AHP) is a theatrical
production company that uses the transformative power of image, movement,
music, symbol, story, song and spoken word to inspire communities of faith and
good conscience across North America. AHP seeks to speak prophetically to the
failings of our current economic and ecological paradigms and call all into the
emerging paradigm of sufficiency and solidarity, cooperation and creative
embodiment. AHP’s newest venture is the Carnival
de Resistance.
The
Carnival de Resistance will be a
travelling arts carnival and school for cultural transformation around the
themes of environmental justice, resistance, and radical theology, that travels
light, becomes a village, and uses unconventional methods of transmitting ideas
and facilitating both spontaneous and planned-for experiences.
